History
Georg Schaller and Nedim Hazar, the founders of the German-Turkish rock band Yarinistan, were also the composers of the repertory.
The band which initially played ethno-jazz and ethno-rock was formed in the framework of the Ruhrfestspiele in Recklinghausen, where Hazar was working as an actor and Schaller was a musician. The group recruited more members later on.
The first album "Vielleicht" was released in 1986. The band scored success in Germany and neighbouring countries until the 90's. Hazar and Schaller produced and played in two musicals in the 90's too.
